We headed out to Water Oasis on Thursday afternoon for the wedding rehearsal. It was sunny and h.o.t.-HOT! We were all sweating within minutes of being outside in the heat. The father's were worried about people sitting in the sun for the ceremony and started to brainstorm on how to get more shade out at the arbor or possibly moving it into the tent where the dinner was supposed to be. It was starting to stress Mika out, understandably. In the end we decided on one would be out in the sun that long and everyone should be fine for the ceremony.
We went over the highlights of what everyone was expected to do,
then practiced walking down the aisle.

We forgot to have Mika wear her special outfit and use the faux bouquet I made for her, so we had her put it on and run down to take some photos with Sean.
After we were done, we headed to Red Hills Winery for our dinner. It was very fancy and we were the only ones there. The food was pretty tasty.
We started off with crab cakes, roasted garlic, toasted bread and brie cheese followed by a salad.

For the main course we could choose between vegetarian pasta, salmon, or brisket. The salmon was actually the tastiest.
Dinner was followed by a berry cobbler for dessert. It was quite tasty.
After dinner we all headed home to get some rest before the big day. We were excited but anxious for it to get here.
