L's top front teeth have been wiggly for a while but when we went in for her teeth cleaning we discovered that her permanent teeth were coming in already. The dentist was concerned and told us that if the baby ones didn't come out within a week, he would need to pull them.
Unfortunately they didn't come out and were getting less wiggly so we went back in for him to pull them. L was nervous, as was I, but we needn't have been. Our dentist is so good and gentle with kids, he makes them feel at ease. He gave her a stuffed animal to hold then he numbed her gum line before giving her an injection to numb the insides of the gum. He used pliers and pulled each tooth out quick as a wink.
Her gums bled for a while but the dentist told me to take her for ice cream to help with the bleeding and to make her feel better. We went to TCBY and got cotton candy sherbert. If you look close in this picture, you can see her permanent teeth already coming in. My girls loves her sweets!
