The Beauty Around Us

While out on our hikes we are always stopping to look at, and sometimes smell, the flowers we find along the way. I am in awe of the shapes and colors these flowers come in and am often quite surprised to see irises, daffodils, magnolias and other such flowers in the wild. I don't know why I would be surprised. It makes sense that they were in the wild before someone decided to sell them for people's homes. I guess I just never really gave much thought to it before seeing such gorgeous specimens on display in the woods.

This is my absolute favorite flower we found so far.
I love the orange with the red speckles.

Yellow Iris

Purple Iris

White Foxglove
