While picking peppers from our garden, a caterpillar was spotted. M brought it in to show me, K was so excited about it. Now I thought these little guys turned into butterflies, but it is awfully late in the season for butterflies to be hatching. What do you think?

I think he prefers our garden.
He's huge! I wonder if he'll be some type of moth. I forget what they were called, but when we lived in Georgia we had huge caterpillars demolish our tomato plants, and they turned into huge moths. Is Mr. Caterpillar still around?
