A Trip to the Doctor's Office

L had her 18 month check-up today. She is 35 1/4 inches tall and weighs 28.8 pounds. This puts her in the 99.8 percentile for height and 54.6 percentile for weight. She is tall and skinny just like I was at that age. Everything checked out okay and the doctor says she is doing great.

L is a very active little girl. She loves to run and play and is always fascinated by her surroundings. She is very inquisitive and smart. She can understand pretty much all that we say to her. She can say a hand full of words including: hi, yeah, Dada, mama, baby, dogie, and fish. Even though she can't say a lot, she is pretty good at letting us know what she wants. It helps that she nods her head for yes and shakes it for no.

L is such a joy to have around and we love her to pieces. I can hardly believe 18 months have gone by. She has grown and changed so much over this time and I know she will change even more by her next birthday. I can hardly wait to see how the next six months mold her. I love her so much and am grateful that Heavenly Father entrusted her to our care. What a wonderful blessing to have in our lives.
