U-Pick Strawberries

Yesterday a group of us went in search of Strawberries. We had heard there was a place to pick that was only 50cents a pound. We all thought that was wonderful and went in search of this wonderful patch. Unfortunately, it wasn't very big or very nice. So we drove back to a different field that we all knew. It was $8.00 a bucket there, but the strawberries were so yummy!

Happy Father's Day

For Father's Day the girls got Daddy a tie and some shirts to replace his old ones that are falling apart. After opening gifts we went to church. After Sacrament the Father's were given a homemade cinnamon roll in appreciation for all they do. For dinner we grilled steak and had cheesy potatoes, salad and garlic bread to go with it. We were so excited about eating the yummy steak that I forgot to get pictures of our dinner. But trust me, it was GOOD!

To Grandmother's House She Goes

Last weekend K got to go visit Grandma by herself. Her Great Aunt Marsha and
Great Uncle Ace were there too. She got to go out to eat with them and her
Great Grandma. She loves Grandma's house because she gets to play outside so
much more and she helps with all the animal chores. It is always a challenge to get
her to come home after a visit there.

Memorial Day BBQ

For Memorial Day we got together with a few friends for a BBQ.

The kids were really adorable playing together.

Sisterly Love

K loves playing with her sister. L gets really happy when she sees K coming to sing or read to her. K likes to hold her sister too. Now that L is getting bigger it is easier for her to do so.

Weekend at Bahmah's

A few weeks ago we all went up to visit the Grandparents. Only Grandma had seen L up to this point so we thought we would let the other family members see her too. I wasnt able to get pictures with Grandpa and Aunt though. Maybe next time.

Crayon Abuse

Okay, so I was in my bedroom trying to get L to go down for a nap while K was playing harmlessly in the living room. Or so I thought. When I went in to get lunch started this is what I found.




Apparently K didn't think there was enough color on her play kitchen. The sad part is that of all the washable crayons she has, she was able to pull out one of the few crayons that isn't. Not only that, but it is black. I have tried to scrub it off, but it won't budge. I have heard that Mr. Clean magic sponge works good on crayon. I will have to get one and see. Needless to say, I took away K's crayons indefinitely.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was especially good this year because I have two beautiful daughters and a wonderful husband to share it with. M made me a delicious breakfast in bed to start off the day.

The girls got me a wheat grinder so I can learn how to make homemade bread with our food storage wheat.

Right before church we went outside to take pictures in front of our blossoming Dogwood Tree.

At church the Mother's received a dark chocolate truffle from Euphoria's Chocolate. It was wrapped in a bag tied with a metal key chain tag that M had made at work.

K made me an adorable little flower with her handprint in Nursery.

Daddy Daughter Day

Saturday was a beautiful clear warm day so Daddy took K to Spencer's Butte. I was out of town with L and it gave Daddy and K a chance to hang out together. Daddy said it didn't take a terribly long time and they enjoyed the hike. K only fell a couple of times but didn't get hurt.
